Podium NOORD en wijkbewoners nodigen u graag uit voor een kleine ceremonie rond Nowruz. Een mooie middag met een lezing, symbolische tradities, poëzie, Perzische muziek.

– Voordragen en toelichting van de poëzie van Hafiz door Zahra Bahremand & Cyrus Arjmand.

Nowruz is de traditionele viering van het Perzische Nieuwjaar dat al in 555 voor Christus werd gevierd. Dit vindt zijn oorsprong in de Iraanse religie van het zoroastrisme en is dus geworteld in de tradities van de Iraanse volkeren; het wordt echter al meer dan 3000 jaar gevierd door diverse gemeenschappen in West-Azië, Centraal-Azië, de zuidelijke Kaukasus, het Zwarte Zeebekken, de Balkan.

Nowrus is the traditional celebration of the Persion New Year that was celebrated as early 555 before Chr. This has its origins in the Iranian religion of Zerostrianism and is therefore rooted in the traditions of the Iranian peoples. However, it has been celebrated for more than 3000 years by various communities in Western Asia, Central Asia, The South Caucasus, the Black Sea area and The Balkans.
